First entry

Hi, welcome to my blog This is my first entry. A proper use of this blog will follow soon.
I will mainly use this Blog to give my friends in Germany a bit of information about me, during my stay here in Wales for one year.

My current workplace

As I wrote before, that I am in Wales for a year. I working here as a "co-worker" in a Camphill-Community. The community is called Coleg Elidir.
Coleg-Elidir has three sites, I am working in Rhandirmwyn. I have to care there for young people with learning-difficulties. The name Rhandirmwyn is the name of the little village here, far away from civilisation. But there is a pub and a Post Office, the two most important things in Wales. The Coleg itself is much bigger as the village istself :-). Arround 40 Students are living here. The Coleg is placed in a nice lanscape surounded by pasure lands.
On the Picture you can see the Farmhouse, one House of the Coleg and the House I am living in.

Bloging Gang ;-)

It seems like everyp is blogging now. It`s not only me who started blogging it`s also a frien of mine, Johannes. And of course Lars who is allready a blogger for a long time. He is also the guy who set me up this blog, thank you Lars.

The Longhorn decade?

As I was surfing in the Internet this evening I found s.th. that really confuses me.
The motto of Windows Longhorn: "Beginning a technology wave that will define the digital decade"[1]. I am realy afraid of this kind of digital decade. Hopefully no drop of this wave will touch me ;-).

Longhorn is the codename of the new Windows version after XP. But it is more an extension of XP than a new brand new OS.

Holidays comming soon [Partytime]

Nach langer Zeit schreib ich mal wieder was. Ich freu mich schon auf meine Ferien wenn ich am 27.12. endlich nach Hause fliegen kann. Wir habe auch schon eine Silvesterparty geplant, bei mir zu hause in Oberstenfeld. Dann kann ich mal alle meine Freunde wieder sehen.

Die Einladung zur Party wird euch demnächst erreichen. Wenn das nicht schon geschehen ist. Die Party organisiere ich zusammen mit Lars.

@ Home

Seit heute bin ich wieder zu Hause (nach 5 Monaten). Nach einer etwas abenteuerlichen Reise hab ich es auchn noch geschafft heim zu kommen. 2 Tage später als geplant.

Wieder in Wales

Nun bin ich schon seit ungefähr zwei Wochen wieder in Wales. Nach erholsamen Ferien in Deutschland, geht nun der Alltagsstress langsam wieder los. Zum Glück haben wir heute Abend mal wieder eine richtige Party im Coleg.

Relaxing Weekend

After a long while without blogging I am message a new articel. This weekend it was parents weekend in colege, that means the most parents of the students are here. For us co-wokers this brakes the routine of the daily life to a nice and realaxing weekend. If only a few students are left in the house, there is the possibility to have a lot of rest or going to pub with the Houseparents. As an additional help to a good atmosphere the wather was quit nice today. The only thing that`s missing those days is a fast internet connction *gg*.

Anyway I am hope summer is comming soon. I am really fed up with this fu*cking cold weather.

Der Sommer kommt

Wenn das Wetter (auch hier in Wales) immer besser wird und man auch Abends ohne Jacke aus dem Haus kann, kommt auch gute Stimmung auf. Das führt dann zum Beispiel zu netten Wochenenden mit Wasserschlacht am Tag und Grillparty am Abend. So stattgefunden am gestrigen Sonntag. Die Bilder dieses gelungenen Tags möchte ich natürlich meinen total gespannten Bloglesern nicht vorenhalten. Daher habe ich mir trozt meiner langsamen Internetverbindung die Mühe gemacht wenigstens ein paar Bilder hochzuladen. Bewundern könnt ihr die Bilder in einem Fotoalbum

Building a new Blog

Today I started to build a blog. After Johannes gave me the last kick. The new blog is running under Wordpress now. Everything is much more nicer there.
